Google Presentations

The students pick up technology so quickly! In small groups, the students are researching and taking notes on different Native American Tribes. They are using their notes to create Google Presentations that they will use to teach the rest of the class about their tribe. It is amazing how quickly they implement what they learn. They can all access their presentation from home by logging in to their google account. Have them share the finished product with you.

Homework

Please make sure your child is reading each night as well as practice math facts. There are some websites on my blog as well as the school's website where the kids can practice math facts. You may also use flashcards or call them out while in the car. Tomorrow I am sending home a practice booklet for subtraction facts and multiplication facts. It is a great tool to use during homework. It has been awesome to see kids use their multiplication facts when problem solving.
